- קְשַׁשI ch. sam(קשש IIto be straight, stiff). Polel קוֹשֵׁש to straighten, correct, v. infra. Ithpolel אִתְקוֹשֵׁש to correct ones self. Y.Taan.II, 65a bot. (ref. to Zeph. 2:1) נִתְקוֹשֵׁש גרמן ער דלא נְקוֹשֵׁש חורנין let us correct ourselves before we correct others; v. קָשַׁט.
